Air Caraïbes presents its second A350-1000, the latest generation Airbus aircraft, and is delighted to be the first French airline to receive a second A350-1000.

On Tuesday May 4, 2021, Air Caraïbes’ second A350-1000 MSN 482 completed its first test flight at Airbus in Toulouse. The aircraft took off at 2:02p.m. and after 04H50 of flight, it landed at 6:31p.m. The Airbus teams report a satisfactory flight from all points of view, during which the expected flight performance and the necessary checks were successfully completed.

Mathieu Munos, General Manager of Air Caraïbes Atlantique: "We are all very proud and happy to soon be able to offer our customers the opportunity to travel on board this new aircraft, the flagship of Airbus. In a few weeks, it will join the 4 A350s already operated by our Company (3 A350-900 and 1 A350-1000), high-performance aircraft, more comfortable for our passengers and more respectful of the environment. Their next-generation Rolls Royce XWB97 engines deliver significant fuel savings of around 25% per flight, as well as a significant reduction in their carbon footprint. "
