Brussels Airlines for second consecutive time awarded ‘Best Tran-Atlantic Airline’

Today, The American magazine Global Traveler conducted its 16th annual GT Tested Reader Survey awards and awarded Brussels Airlines ‘Best Trans-Atlantic Airline’, based on their readers’ voting. It is the second consecutive year for the airline to receive the prize. The Belgian airline serves three destinations in North America, including New York, Washington and Toronto. As from 29 March 2020, Brussels Airlines will launch flights to Montreal and discontinue its seasonal service to Toronto as from 8 January.

“To receive the award for ‘Best Trans-Atlantic Airline’ for the second consecutive time is an even greater honour and it would not have been possible without the continuous commitment of our colleagues. To be chosen as a winner by Global Traveler’s readers is a true compliment for all of us at Brussels Airlines and encourages us to continue to go the extra smile for our guests on the ground as well as in the air.”

In 2019, the Belgian airline invested in the renewal of its long haul fleet, welcoming 7 younger, quieter and environmentally friendlier planes. Next to that, Brussels Airlines also renewed the cabin interior of its aircraft flying to and from North America, introducing a brand new Business Class, Premium Economy Class and Economy Class on its flights to and from Africa and North America. Since August 1st, Premium Economy Class is available on all flights to and from New York, Washington and Toronto.

“At Brussels Airlines we aim to make the journey as important as the destination. The award comes as a great recognition for our continuous commitment towards the customer and proves once more our added value to the Joint venture with Air Canada, the Lufthansa Group and United. ”
