Air Transat increases its presence in France and Belgium year round with its TGV AIR service, offered in association with the SNCF

Air Transat, named the 2018 World’s Best Leisure Airline, is pleased to announce that sale of its new TGV AIR service, offered in association with the SNCF in France, is now available across all its platforms. The service lets Air Transat passengers landing in Paris connect with the TGV railway system to reach various cities in France as well as Brussels. The service makes life much easier for travellers: It’s one booking, one rate, one ticket. And as of today, they can book their travel.

“France is a vital market to Air Transat, and our partnership with the SNCF and its TGV AIR service is proof positive of that,” says Annick Guérard, Chief Operating Officer at Transat. “This is the first time the service is being offered by a North American airline. It will open up travel to many regions in France and to Brussels throughout the year. Our goal was to increase our presence in this market, and we’re very excited about how that will benefit our passengers,” she concludes.

Nineteen destinations year-round from Paris-Charles de Gaulle

With TGV AIR, Air Transat will provide Canadian travellers with access to 18 cities in France and to Brussels, Belgium, at any time of year. That means easy travel to Aix-en-Provence, Angers, Avignon, Reims Champagne-Ardenne, Le Mans, Lille, Metz-Nancy, Montpellier, Nimes, Poitiers, Rennes, Tours St-Pierre-des-Corps, Strasbourg, and Valence via high-speed train from Paris‑CDG, regardless of the season. Air Transat is also upping the number of its direct summer flights to Nantes, Bordeaux, Lyon and Marseille, France, and to Brussels, Belgium.
