Dubai-based flydubai is celebrating ten years since its first commercial flight to Ukraine in 2011 and it continues to be an important part of the flydubai network. flydubai currently operates daily flights to Kyiv Boryspil International Airport (KBP) and up to three flights a week to Odesa (ODS), its second location in Ukraine where it has been operating since 2013.

More than 1.5 million passengers have flown between Ukraine and the UAE since 2011. The majority of passengers travelling from Ukraine visit Dubai and other popular destinations for travel include Colombo, Malé and Zanzibar. Ukrainian citizens can benefit from a Visa-on-Arrival when visiting the UAE, which is now home to more than 15,000 Ukrainian residents.

Passengers travelling from Ukraine will have to opportunity to experience flydubai’s Boeing 737 MAX aircraft and can enjoy more comfort and an enhanced travel experience. The new cabin offering features a flatbed in Business Class and in addition to the extra space and privacy, passengers can sleep comfortably during their flight. Economy Class offers new RECARO seats, which are designed to optimise space and comfort so passengers can sit back, relax and enjoy their flight.

flydubai continues to roll-out WiFi across its fleet enabling passengers to stay connected during their flight and can browse the web, send emails, use social networks and get the latest news.
