Clear commitment to Dusseldorf from Germany's most popular leisure airline: with the start of the current winter timetable, Condor will be flying its guests on vacation from Dusseldorf to 13 destinations with over 40 weekly departures. New to the flight schedule are three weekly long-haul flights to the Caribbean to Punta Cana (Dominican Republic). On short- and medium-haul routes, Condor flies to warm-water destinations such as Lanzarote, Fuerteventura and Hurghada. In addition, vacation-hungry passengers have the option of flying daily to Gran Canaria or Tenerife in the Canary Islands. And for the 2022 summer flight schedule, Condor has announced even more vacation destinations from Dusseldorf: In addition to Malaga in Spain and Nice in France, the vacation airline will also take off for Athens in Greece and Rijeka and Dubrovnik in Croatia.

Vacation in the summer of 2022: With Condor from Dusseldorf

A brand new destination in the Condor flight schedule is Greece's capital Athens, the center of ancient Greece, four times a week. Europe's first cultural capital boasts ancient monuments, the Acropolis and impressive Greek history. Athens ideally complements the eight other Condor destinations in Greece. There are also four weekly flights to the popular destinations of Málaga in Spain and Nice on the Côte d'Azur, two popular seaside paradises that impress with their culture, architecture, and location directly on the sea. Croatia is also very popular in the summer: in addition to Split on the Dalmatian coast, Condor flies weekly to Dubrovnik and twice a week to the port city of Rijeka on the northern Adriatic. Düsseldorf is an important Condor maintenance location

With around 100 employees in the meantime, Condor Technik has been an important Condor maintenance location for Condor since the end of 2018. To date, Condor Technik has been responsible for the maintenance of the entire Condor Airbus fleet on site in Hall 7 at Dusseldorf Airport. The newly ordered 16 2-liter long-haul A330neo aircraft of the latest generation, which are successively replacing the current B767 long-haul fleet, will also be maintained in Dusseldorf in future, in addition to Frankfurt. And the technical site in Dusseldorf is set to grow further: more than 30 new employees, including mechanics and engineers, will be recruited at the site for this purpose in the coming months.

First Condor flight to New York City takes off

Just in time for the opening of the U.S.: Today, Condor flight DE2016 set off on time from Frankfurt to JFK Airport in New York City with 245 guests on board. Condor had brought forward the inaugural flight after the U.S. set the opening of the country for November 8. New York-JFK is served five times a week. From there, guests have the option of traveling onward to more than 40 destinations in the U.S. with partner airline JetBlue from New York.
