Wizz Air announces further expansion to its base in Georgia, where it allocates one of its Airbus A321neo aircraft.
The allocation of this additional aircraft is enabling the launch of another new route as well as increased frequency on nine routes from David the Builder Kutaisi International Airport.
The allocation of one more aircraft to Wizz Air’s Kutaisi base will grow the base to four aircraft. The move brings the number of routes from the base to 28, including the launch of a new route from Georgia’s second largest city. Passengers will now be able to fly to Copenhagen in Denmark as well. Furthermore, the additional capacity allows Wizz Air to increase the frequency of its flights from the base to Athens, Barcelona, Berlin, Dortmund, Memmingen, Milano, Paris Beauvais, Prague, and Rome.
