The inaugural Royal Jordanian Airlines flight from Manchester Airport to Amman took off on Wednesday, 6 March.

The new service will operate three times weekly from the UK’s gateway in the North to the Jordanian capital on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays using the Airbus A319 aircraft.

This is a brand-new route for Manchester Airport and adds to the over 200 destinations served from the UK’s biggest airport outside London.

At almost 2,500 miles, the new route is Royal Jordanian’s longest European flight. It takes around 5h 45m.
