The gateway to Canada's north: Today, a Condor flight took off for Edmonton for the first time. This marks the start of Germany's most popular leisure airline's two weekly connections to the capital of the Canadian province of Alberta. Direct flights are offered on Tuesdays and Fridays.

A Boeing 767 was used for flight DE2468, bringing travelers to the city on the banks of the North Saskatchewan River. On site, passengers and crew are duly welcomed by Edmonton International Airport. Afterwards, guests could be off to the Canadian Rocky Mountains or to one of the national parks. The city itself delights with numerous festivals and cultural activities as well as a lively gastronomy scene and many shopping opportunities.

With the new destination, Condor is expanding its Canada portfolio to five destinations: In addition to Edmonton, Germany's most popular leisure airline is flying to Toronto, Vancouver, Whitehorse and Halifax.
