While concerns were strong during the spring about the resumption of flights in La Rochelle, the airport had welcomed, in a previous press release, the confidence given by airlines having rescheduled routes to/from the airport for this summer.

In the current context which remains particularly uncertain, the airport confirms that the flight schedule was completed during the month of July and announces that it will expand for the month of August, with over ten destinations - Ajaccio, Brussels - Charleroi, Dublin, Geneva, London-Gatwick, London Stansted, Lyon, Manchester, Nice and Porto - served by 4 airlines - Chalair, EasyJet, Jet2 and Ryanair.

The airport had also announced the launch of flights between La Rochelle and Nice in August by easyJet. It is to be hoped that the good start of this route which welcomed 273 passengers (125 on arrival, 148 on departure) who traveled on its 1st flight between the 2 cities, last Sunday, August 2, will be a good sign for the future.
