This Sunday, July 3, 2022, La Rochelle airport will welcome the first Manchester - La Rochelle flight, operated by easyJet for the summer of 2022.

The route is offered from July 3 to September 4, 2022, every Wednesday and Sunday.

The flight is operated either by an Airbus A320 with a capacity of 186 seats (Wednesdays in July and every Sunday) or an Airbus A319 with a capacity of 156 seats (Wednesdays in August).

Thomas Juin, Managing Director of the mixed syndicate of La Rochelle and Rochefort airports, welcomes this route opening : “I am delighted with the development of easyJet at La Rochelle Ile de Ré airport. This airline has, for several years, offered 3 destinations and is offering 5 in 2022: Nice, London-Gatwick, Geneva, Manchester and Bristol. It has also strengthened its offer by extending the period of operation of the London-Gatwick route from the end of March to the end of October and by increasing the frequency on the Nice route from 3 weekly frequencies in 2021 to 4 weekly frequencies this year. . This is a mark of trust from a major airline. »

This second route between La Rochelle and Manchester is in addition to the one already operated by the airline Jet2, from May 28 to September 17, 2022, every Saturday.
